Ciechanów Poultry Company CEDROB Ltd was established in 1991 as a result of privatisation of Ciechanów Poultry Company (the state-owned company - part of POLDROB).
The capital comes form friends- poultry breeders from Ciechanów ex-voivodeship.
In December 1996 "CEDROB" is transformed into join stock company.
In 1997 CEDROB's shares are bought by American company HOUDSON FOODS L.C. - on the assumption it would be a strategic shareholder, but due to its problems on the Russian market in 2001 the American company withdrawn definitely its shares. CEDROB is 100% Polish company at the present time.
In May 1997 the proprietors of Ciechanów Poultry Plant CEDROB, join stock company, became the partners of the Poultry - Breeder's Plant of Niepołomice (limited liability company). In 2000 both of these companies are now CEDROB group Join Stock Company.
CEBROB invests in development of raw material background on the base of the owner's of the company - 80% of the raw material comes from own breeding farms. In 1998 the company built very modern hatchery plant of hatching capacity 3 million hens per month.
Production plants in Ciechanów and Niepołomice are generally renovated. These actions followed by implementation of modern management methods gives to the company good results such as leading position on the Polish market in production of poultry meat and poultry products.
Our products are actually present on the European market as well as non-EU markets. We deliver our products to Russia, Ukraine, Byelorussia, China and many African countries.
Locally, in Poland, our supply chain is based on our own shops and partner retailers and wholesalers as well as we cooperate with big commercial networks (huge commercial centers, discount markets).

Main targets of the Ciechanów Poultry Plant "CEDROB" S.A are as follows:
- to fulfill our client's demands by improving our commercial offer and high quality of offered products
- effective and reliable realization of all production processes as well as high position of the CEDROB on both local and international markets
- to improve organisation of every working place and systematic improvement of worker's skills by training
- to develop Quality Management Systems
- Optimal utilisation of our raw material and stocks
- Close cooperation with customers bearing in mind customer's satisfaction and optimal identification of client's needs and demands
Our plants in Ciechanów and Niepołomice
- we manage our production with respect to the rules of good production practice, hygiene and law regulations referred to health of food and nourishing conditions bearing in mind safety, legality and responsibility for our customers.
- We are trying to get high quality of our products in order to satisfy our clients and ourselves by improvement of HACCP system
- We insist on implementation and improvement of UFS and BRC standards
Our hatchery plants in Mława and Pawłowo:
- we integrate all workers of hatchery plant by insisting on quality issues referred to one day hens both for meat and egg purposes
- our workers are obliged to obey the rules of certificate and to improve Quality Management System according to ISO 9001:2000 norms
Our shops:
- we sell poultry meat according to good hygiene practice and HACCP system norms
We assure that our Quality Policy is simple and implemented on all stages of production process.
The usefulness of the policy is verified on systematical management meetings.
Our Quality Policy is followed by proper education, verification and is systematically updated. It is available on request.
