The Ceramic Plant Cerkolor – was established in 1988 in Parczówek near Opoczno. The owners – Alfred Czyżewski, Barbara and Krzysztof Surdyk started the business with production of ceramic mosaic glued to the carton, they were producing the mosaic in the building of old sewing room. They use damaged and spoiled tiles for forming into new products of different shapes and sizes. As the first plant in Poland, in 1992 the plant started production of ceramic profiles for walls. Up to now the plant is specialised in the production of ceramic decorative and finishing elements. Today, there is no trace of old sewing plant. It was replaced with new, modern buildings covering all requirements of production cycle. At this moment the company employs 200 persons. Most of them are residents of neighbouring villages.

In order to satisfy our customers’ needs, Cerkolor Ltd. five times enlarged its production of 9,8 x 9,8 tiles and ceramic profiles. The increase in volumes and production offer was able due to installation of modern Italian production lines in “Ceramika Avanti” company. The company was created on the base of technological experience of the following companies: Cerkolor located on the area of former ZPiWS “Józefów”, Ceramika Avanti Sp. z o.o., Cerkolor Sp. z o.o. and Ceramika Skarbek Sp. z o.o. included in Cerkolor Group.
