DESPOL Ltd was established in 1990 as a trade company. It made the most of the appearing possibility of privet import goods and service.
  DESPOL Ltd., from the beginning, was specialised in importing machines and equipment. It started with pneumatic tools, and -  since 1991- machines for the food industry.Gradually presented to the polish market new marks, in the same time becoming their sales representative.
  In 1990 Despol started cooperation with English company Dessoutter, importing pneumatic tools for FIAT POLSKA, it allowed to equipped Fiat’s assembly lines in fully. Today Despol delivers  pneumatic and hydraulic tools to many of shipyards, foundries, welding, white goods manufactures, electric power stations. Among them there are the most famous Fiat Auto Poland, General Motors, ISUZU, Daewoo, EATON, Valeo, Delphi, VW, WABCO and others. Its offer contains a large variety of professional tools manufactured by ENERPAC ( hydraulic tools), FIAM ( screwdrivers, angle nutrunners, drills and tappers), CRANE ( electronic control systems), , ATA ( grinders, burrs), CEJN ( pneumatic accessories), RODAC( workshops tools ), BETA ( hand tools, sockets). Second Despol’s activity started with chamber vacuum machines imported from  Henkelmann company from  Holand.  Taking into account the lack of Polish film, vacuum bags and containers producers, Despol started, with a success, to import these products as well.
In 1993 supermarkets chains started to invest on Polish market. Despol Ltd picked up the chance to become the main supplier for butcher departments in supermarkets.  It got exclusiveness for import meat grinders and band saws – from KOLBE, automatic shrink film wrappers – from Waldyssa, steak cutters – from TREIF, meat circle saws – from FREUND, deriding and de-skinning machines – from MAJA, grills  – from FRI JADO.  Enlarge its offer once again – adding all sort of accessories necessary while working with meat.  This offer became very interesting not only for supermarkets, but for meat industry too.
Today Despol’s most important clients are:  Makro Cash&Carry, Real, Carrefour, Hit Selgros, Billa, miniMAL, Leclerc, Auchan, Jumbo, Piotr i Paweł, Hypernova, Albert, Edeka, Intermarche, Tesco, Geant.
It has service network and its own spare part store. The main servicing centres are in Warsaw, Silesia, Szczecin i Gdańsk, which cover with their activity the whole territory of Poland.
The last years brought another enlarging of Despol offer: spices, marinades, natural bowels and functional additions for meat. Apart from machines for packing on trays - WALDYSSA, vacuum packing - HENCOVAC and packing in MAP technology - SEALPAC, we can offer a wide range of packing accessories: stretching films PVC, containers PP, for packing in MAP system, trays EPS, absorbing pads with increased absorbency, bags PA/PE.
All of the machines and accessories, as well as films and trays, which Despol has in its offer, have - if necessary - certificates, declaration of accordance with PN (Polish standard), manual in Polish, DTR, certificates PZH, Certificates of safety sign “B”. It was always the most important for DESPOL Ltd to keep the standard of products and service on the highest level. It was proved by certificate ISO 9001 which Despol got in  2000 , and confirmed with the external audit in  2001.
